Welcome Reception: 6:30pm, Sunday 3 December, 2023
We hope you can join us on Sunday for our welcome reception. This is an opportunity for you to meet your fellow scholars and have a chat with some of the presenters.
The welcome reception is free of charge and will include both vegetarian and gluten free selections as well as wine, beer and soft drinks.

Summer School Dinner: 5:00pm, Thursday 7 December, 2023
After a hectic week of logic, we all need to unwind a bit.
Come along to dinner from 5:00pm at Lazy Su, at 1/9 Lonsdale St, Braddon. This is a relaxed food hall with several food and drinks options, and is open beforehand for anyone that wants to go straight after the lectures.
Excursion: 10:00 am, Saturday September 9, 2023
The Summer School’s tradition is to visit the Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve, so on the weekend we’ll treat ourselves to an excursion out of Canberra.
We will be meeting around 09:45 at the Science Road carpark behind building 38 for a 10:00am departure. We will return to campus by about 5pm.

Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve is in the mountains, around a 40-minute scenic drive out of Canberra. We can expect to come across kangaroos, wallabies, koalas and emus which run wild. We normally take a gentle walk on one of the marked walking trails.
Lunch will be provided on the excursion. This social event is free to participants.
